Project: Megawords Storefront First-time PEI grant recipients independent curators Anthony Smyrski and Dan Murphy will produce a month-long series of events in a storefront space in Center City. This site will serve as Megawords’ focal point for permanent and rotating installations, guest speakers and artists, musical performances, workshops, and film screenings. In conjunction with this period of intense creative activity, Megawords will release two special-edition, printed issues of their magazine Megawords, one at the beginning of the project, and one at its close, both drawing direct inspiration from the storefront space, the participating artists, and the project audiences.
